The topics of the seminars are based on the structure and material of the researches of the Commission. They cover the main historical issues related with the Nazi and Soviet occupation regimes, presenting the latest researches, educational and management topics. The teachers have theoretical lectures, practical activities and guided tours in the museums. The seminars for the teacher-trainers give deeper understanding about historical issues and educational sciences. The lecturers are the most prominent researchers of the Commission, professors of philosophy and political sciences, psychologists, sociologists and educators. The educators from Lithuania present modern theories of educational sciences, educational and management principles, learning and teaching styles. The educators from the partner institutions abroad present methodological guidelines of teaching the Holocaust developed in their centres and contribute to the development of the guidelines for Lithuanian schools. In the workshops the participants reflect on historical and pedagogical competences they possess and evaluate the principles of Holocaust education in other countries. They discuss about methodological guidelines of teaching the Holocaust taking into consideration the peculiarities of Lithuanian history, tools and methods. The teacher-trainers develop teaching material with the integration of different subjects for appropriate age groups of students using the materials of the seminars.
