The main goal of the 3
rd seminar that took place in Vienna was to present the projects and to discuss the spread of the projects results in the European Union members. The project “The violation of the human rights before the massive killings. The role of bystanders” was presented by Mrs. Ingrida Vilkienė. It is being implementing already for a year in Lithuanian. 17 pupils of five Vilnius schools are contributing to this project.

Six interviews were recorded in the process of this project. They are about to fix the memories of 1941 year of the elderly. In order to assure the spread of the information the internet site was created. Here ones can find all necessary information of the projects. Lithuanian history from the establishment of the state to the regained independence was presented in the seminar by Ingrida Vilkienė. “I believe that most people from other countries don’t know the crucial moments of Lithuanian history that are related to the tragic events of the 20
th century. For instance, occupations, that’s why this information was urgent part of my introduction”, - said Ingrida Vilkienė.

With the partner from Poland, Mrs. Katarzyna Korsak, Ingrida Vilkienė discussed the implementing projects, especially the deadlines, the results as well as the spread of the outcomes. Ingrida Vilkienė perceives the ideas of others seminars’ participants as also very useful information. According to Ingrida Vilkienė, the projects are particularly different, starting from the evidence of human rights violation and finishing with the places of violation and the circumstances as well as the ways of analyzing them. The seminar itself by Ingrida Vilkienė was described shortly – that was the fair of ideas. “It was very productive as we got many ideas and thoughts that we might realize in our countries”, - stressed Ingrida Vilkienė.
This seminar was organized by the Fundamental Human Rights Agency (FRA) together with the Yad Vashem's International School for Holocaust Studies (Israel).
