Film screening of “In the Footsteps of the Jaeger Report” together with the Tolerance Education Center communities

On October 28, “In the Footsteps of the Jaeger Report” (dir. Boris Maftsir, Israel) was screened at the Palanga Kurhaus for the educational community to learn about the Holocaust in Lithuania.

Before the screening, historian Dr. Stanislovas Stasiulis gave a presentation/historical account of Carl Jaeger and his gruesome report on the murder of Jews in Lithuanian towns and townships in 1941. The film was screened to a large audience, including students and teachers from five Tolerance Education Centers operating in Palanga, Kuliai (Plungė district), Klaipėda, Pagėgiai, and Šilutė. The event was organized by the Secretariat of the International Commission in cooperation with the Palanga Jewish community and the Palanga City Municipality.
