The Commission initiates and coordinates different educational projects for educational institutions. The objective of these projects is to encourage school communities to get acquainted with the history of the crimes of the Nazi and Soviet occupation regimes, to develop tolerance and to educate an open and civil society.
All communities of educational institutions are invited to participate in short-term and long-term educational projects and initiatives throughout the school year. These projects help pupils to become aware of the issues of multicultural heritage, the occupations of Lithuania develops the need to honor the memory of the victims of the Nazi and Soviet occupations, to resist intolerance, violence, xenophobia, discrimination, anti-Semitism, destructive radical movements, etc.
