Panevėžys Jewish community together with Panevėžys city Tolerance Education Centres will hold a few events to commemorate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 26.
A commemoration event will take place at the monument The Grieving Jewish Mother. Educators and students from Panevėžys Tolerance Education Centres will gather there.
1pm will mark the beginning of the forum “Holocaust History in Europe“ and the presentation of the film about Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
At 3pm representatives from Panevėžys Tolerance Education Centres are invited to discuss the film and have some tea or coffe in Jewish community home.
