The Living march in Paneriai memorial, dedicated to commemorating the Holocaust victims, was attended by pupils from the Tolerance Education Centers

The Living march was held on May 23rd and people went on foot from Paneriai Railway Station to Paneriai Memorial. The Living march is dedicated to honor the Holocaust victims.

The Living march was attended by representatives of the Lithuanian Jewish community, a Litvak group from Israel, surviving the Holocaust in Lithuania – Fania Brancovskaja, a world-famous artist Samuelis Bakas, who was rescued from the Vilnius Ghetto, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, Ambassador of Israel to Lithuania Amir Maimon and other honorable persons. Together with the representatives of the Scholom Aleichheim Gymnasium, the event was attended by teachers and students from Vilnius schools with Tolerance Education Centers: Naujamiestis Secondary Schools, the multifunctional center of Saulėtekis school and Santaros Gymnasium.
