16th of May two volunteers from Austrian organization “Gedenkdienst” conducted two lesson for students in Alytus Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas gymnasium. Together with the students they discussed about the genocide of the Jews during World War II and events in Lithuania during that period. They also carried out an exercise about stereotypes and their impact on the society. The students and the volunteers had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding about the holocaust in an unusual but very effective way.
